Aomori PG is extracted from a salmon’s nose cartilage. A technique to extract Aomori PG was developed by Hirosaki University.

The features of Aka~i ringo( The features of red apples )
Aka~i ringo, red apples are easy to use for processed goods. Their flowers are deep in pink color, Their leaves are reddish.
The three kinds of red fruit apples, “Goshogawara”, “ Eikou” and “Red Q”are grown and managed in Agricommunications Tsugaru.
These apples contain much more Polyphenol (about 3times),Anthocyanin ( about 4 times) and calcium ( about 3 times ) than usual apples. In addition to that, it is said that they contain a lot of pectic acid.
